Overview

Not every business needs a large software solution. Capsule has positioned itself as a stepping-stone for companies that don't require the complexity of a full-blown CRM system. It is a paired-down platform that will manage your contacts and boost sales performance--but not much else. If you need a CRM that also serves customer service and marketing teams, this isn't your CRM. But if all you need is a straightforward sales CRM with a great mobile app, Capsule CRM may be just the right fit. You can try their free version or a 30-day trial of the paid version to assess whether Capsule CRM covers your needs or not.
Zendesk Sell in an out-of-the-box sales CRM. It's focused on delivering powerful functionality for sales teams in an easy-to-use platform. Advanced reporting is another benefit of Zendesk Sell. It is one of the pricier solutions on the market, especially considering you'll need a separate subscription for their CRM and customer service software. But if you're looking for a great sales tool that employees enjoy using and derive an immediate benefit from--Zendesk Sell is a great option.

Ease of use

This cloud-based system combines easy-to-use sales tools and basic reporting capabilities. After you register, you get a login that's accessible from any device. Once you upload your contacts, you get an interactive profile for all your clients. You can view and filter contacts by deal stage, last contact, account value, and more. You can also make notes on the file, attach documents, and track the contact through the sales process. Capsule also makes task management a breeze, by organizing your to-dos and assigning automatic alerts and reminders. You'll be able to focus on precisely what you need to do right now. One of the main shortcomings of the system is the caps on storage for free users. With only 10 MB available for two users, you may outgrow the free version quickly. Capsule CRM also has a limited number of integrations, and you will need a paid subscription to access them.
An experienced CRM user will find Zendesk similar to other customer management solutions. The dashboard has easy navigation (with buttons at the top of the screen) and customizable blocks of information. The intuitive calendar enables you to plan your schedule and follow up the interactions. As for reporting tools, they help you understand your current situation and define what needs improvement. By tracking the progress of the sales process, you can see how much time you spend for each client, what your success rate is, and which sales strategies are the most effective. Concerning customer management, Zendesk helps you better identify prospects and adjust your strategy according to their needs. It also allows you to segment your clients into three categories: contacts, leads, and deals. Every profile includes basic information such as name, phone number, email, and link to a social media account. You have ample space to add additional details in the notes section.

Support

Customer support is available to all Capsule users, even without a paid subscription. You can fill out a help ticket through the website or email or tweet your concern. Support hours are during regular business hours, Monday - Friday. You can also help yourself using online resources such as blogs, how-to videos, articles, and guides.
If responsive customer support is a must, Zendesk Sell is probably not the best fit. Unfortunately, Zendesk does not provide email or phone support (except for the Elite version). For general information, there is a Help Center with articles on various topics. In addition, you may attend webinars and ask your questions there.

Who is it for?

The strongest attribute of Capsule CRM is its simplicity and, accordingly, ease of use. You get just enough functionality to manage contacts and boost your sales cycle. There are no complicated dashboards or endless customization options. But if you need marketing and customer service tools, phone support, or advanced reporting options, this software is not the best match for your business.
The Sell Team Plan is affordable at US$19/ user/month. However, it's capped at three users and offers basic functionality. If you need more seats and features, Zendesk Sell can be pretty costly. As such, many medium and large-sized businesses use Zendesk to give their sales teams one of the easiest and most powerful platforms on the market. However, the subscription fees and the need to purchase additional software for marketing and service places Zendesk Sell out of reach for most small businesses.
