What is Bitrix24 CRM?

In trying to do it all, Bitrix24 may confuse and overwhelm the user. However, the starter plan is free for unlimited users, and their paid plans are among the most affordable in the industry. That makes Bitrix24 worth the steep learning curve for many small businesses. You could write a small book about Bitrix24’s extensive feature set. For this review, we’ll stick to what Bitrix24 does best: managing your contacts, tasks, and sales cycle.

Bitrix24 Unlimited

Bitrix24 offers more than a free CRM for unlimited users. It also offers unlimited contacts, leads, deals, and companies at every subscription tier. It’s a generous offer. Most CRMs limit these numbers or force you into a more expensive plan to increase capacity.

Customization

Bitrix24 lets you customize fields, deal stages, reports, quotes, and invoices. Adding options is generally no problem. But unlike its more flexible competitors, Apptivo and Zoho, you don’t get the opportunity to remove options. This leaves the CRM cluttered and difficult to navigate.

Customer Profiles

As expected, Bitrix24 takes a no-stone-left-uncovered approach to its customer profiles. You may have to wade through a lot of data to find what you need. Each profile gives a 360-degree view of the customer, complete with contact details, interaction history, products, orders, invoices, pipeline—and more. You can also call, SMS, and email the contact directly from their profile. Instead of juggling multiple browsers and apps, client data and communication options are combined into one screen.

Activity Stream

The Activity Stream is the first thing you see when you open Bitrix24 and can be likened to a FaceBook feed. From this screen, you can view messages, announcements, tasks, and events. Users can like and comment on posts or use the message feature to contact individuals and groups.

Sales Cycle Management

Most of the sales features for analytics, management, and automation are available only for the business plans, which begin at US$50/month for 50 users (with a two-year contract). Let’s take a closer look at what you get when you purchase a Bitrix24 subscription.

  • Workflows: Bitrix24 will automatically assign new leads and send auto-alerts to managers when a deal reaches a certain stage. You can also set up automated task creation. For example, you can associate a series of tasks with each stage of your sales cycle. As a lead progresses from one stage to the next, tasks are automatically assigned, and reminders are created. Email sends can also be automated, based on events (such as closing a deal) or time-based (such as a reminder to renew a subscription).

  • Time management: Bitrix24 tracks staff hours and location by IP address. You know where your reps are when they clock in and out. Bitrix24 also offers alerts if you want to be notified when someone leaves early or arrives late.

  • Sales reports: You can measure virtually any sales task in reports, such as call volume, new leads, deals closed, and revenue generated. Bitrix24 makes it easy to measure performance and efficiency in sales teams.

  • Calendars: It’s easy to coordinate tasks and meetings with the shared calendar feature. Customers can receive a link to your availability versus playing phone tag. Transparency also helps team members and managers coordinate projects and meetings with ease.

The number of pipelines available depends on your subscription plan, with unlimited pipelines available in the Business Professional tier. You can also view your leads according to where they are in the sales funnel and by lead source.
